Change my account email

Change your account email

Outcome: Verify a new address while preserving account ownership and revoking other sessions.

Before you start

You must be signed in and able to read messages sent to the new email address.

If two-factor authentication is enabled, you must also enter either a current six-digit authenticator code or one unused recovery code before EZFormz sends the email-change code.

Never share an email-change code, authenticator code, recovery code, or passkey prompt. EZFormz support will not ask you for one.

Change your account email

  1. Open Account, then find your profile email and select Change.
  2. Enter the new email address. If prompted, verify with your authenticator or a recovery code.
  3. Open the message sent to the new address and copy the six-digit code.
  4. Enter the code in EZFormz within 15 minutes.

What changes

Your account keeps the same internal user ID. Your owned forms and order data, passkeys, API keys, connected apps, and collaborations stay with the account.

Pending form-transfer and collaboration invitations that already identify your user account are updated to the new address. Historical invitation, buyer, order, and audit values are not rewritten.

Your current session stays signed in. EZFormz revokes your other sessions after the change is confirmed.

Future sign-ins and account notices use the new address. Historical buyer or customer email values and audit history are not rewritten.

EZFormz sends security notices to the old and new addresses after a successful change. Review your forms and access after confirming the change.

If the new address is already used by another EZFormz account, the change is rejected; accounts are not merged. Use the supported collaboration or form-transfer workflow instead of changing email to move work between accounts.

If you did not request the change

Do not enter the code. Secure your email account and EZFormz account immediately. Keep control of any working passkey or authenticator factor, and contact support if you cannot confirm the account is safe.
