Create your first order form

Outcome: Start with a template or blank form, add products and questions, and save a buyer-ready draft.

What you'll do

Create an account, choose the right starting layout, add what buyers need, and test the form before opening it for orders.

Choose a starting point

Create a free account at Sign up, then choose New Form on Dashboard. The Form Title is the name buyers see at the top of the form.

  • Blank Form starts with an empty canvas.
  • Standard Order Form includes Products, Name and Email, Shipping Address, Payment Instructions, and Payment Proof.
  • Simple Product Form includes Products, Name and Email, and Payment Instructions.
  • Contact Form includes Name and Email, a required Subject field, and a required Message field.
  • A custom template you previously saved can provide another starting layout.

The chooser creates a new form. A saved template is not a synchronized copy of its source form, and a full duplicate or backup has different behavior. See Reuse, back up, or restore forms.

Steps

  1. Name the form and choose a template, or start blank.
  2. Open the Products block and add product names, options, prices, and stock behavior.
  3. Add question or content blocks from the left sidebar by clicking or dragging them onto the canvas.
  4. Open Appearance to choose a starting design and adjust colors, fonts, components, or individual blocks.
  5. Use Preview to complete one buyer journey with the current builder state.
  6. Open the preview at phone width and confirm that every required field is easy to complete.
  7. Choose Save changes when this version is ready to become the current saved version.

What happens next

The form appears on your dashboard. It does not accept public orders until its status is Open. In the Publish tab, set the form to Open and share the public link only after the signed-out test passes.

Before publishing

  • Make every question required only when the answer is truly necessary.
  • Check product prices, options, stock, shipping, and payment instructions.
  • Preview on both a narrow and wide screen.
  • Complete the form once as a buyer and confirm the final review screen is understandable.
  • If payment is collected outside EZFormz, confirm that the destination and buyer instructions are correct. EZFormz does not process that external payment for you.

When the draft is ready, continue to Publish and share a form.
