Duplicate a form
From your dashboard, open an owned form's menu and choose Duplicate. The copy receives a new title and public slug, starts inactive, and copies the blocks, theme, header and background image references, catalog, shipping options, promotion definitions, seller document profiles, thank-you and confirmation settings, order-edit settings, Profit and Loss enablement, review visibility, and the maximum-submissions value.
Duplication does not copy orders, view count, live promotion usage or budget counters, the form password or invite list, open and close dates, Google Sheets or Airtable connections, or account-level provider credentials. Other limit values may not follow the source. If the source uses shared inventory, the copy is detached from that inventory set and its option stock and low-stock thresholds start as unlimited local values; set reviewed local stock or link the copy to the intended inventory set before publishing. Treat the duplicate as a new public and operational boundary, not a synchronized branch of the original.
Reuse blocks with a template
In the builder, open Settings, then Tools. Save as Template records a reusable builder template. In the current builder, Load Template replaces the current blocks after confirmation while the current form's products remain in place. Built-in choices include Standard Order Form, Simple Product Form, and Contact Form.
Templates are useful for repeated layouts and question sets. They are not complete form clones or backups: verify products, prices, shipping, promotions, appearance, email, access, limits, schedule, and integrations separately.
Download a form backup
Choose Download Backup to save the current version-3 JSON format. It contains the title and description, blocks, products and product costs, shipping options, Coupon and Sale definitions, theme and seller-document settings, payment instructions, thank-you and confirmation settings, and order-edit settings.
It does not contain order history, promotion usage or budget counters, the public slug or active status, form passwords or invite lists, open or close schedules, form-level maximum-submissions or maximum-items-sold values, integration connections, or buyer access state. Product-block checkout limits remain in the saved blocks. Product and shipping images are referenced by URL instead of being bundled as image files; uploaded header and page-background image fields are not part of the current backup payload.
A backup can contain payment destinations and private business configuration. Store it securely, preferably encrypted; do not email it casually or attach it to a support ticket. For an order and account archive, use Export or delete account data and contact support.
Restore with care
Only the form owner can run a complete backup restore. Restore from Backup is a destructive live restore, not a draft preview. It atomically replaces the form's current blocks, products, shipping options, Coupons, Sales, supported backed-up settings, and every user's saved builder drafts and recovery leases for that form. Promotion definitions receive fresh private identities; automatic Sales receive fresh internal codes; usage and budget counters restart at zero.
If the form uses shared inventory, restore detaches it and recreates option stock and low-stock thresholds as unlimited local values. Restoring an older file without promotions can permanently remove the current Coupons and Sales.
Before restoring, stop active ordering when practical and download a fresh backup of the current form. The current restore accepts official version-1, version-2, and version-3 files. It waits for an active Save result before proceeding, validates catalog prices, shipping prices, promotion rules and schedules, and reconnects promotion targets to the recreated product and variant identities before the destructive transaction. If an active Save result is unknown or validation fails, the restore stops without replacing the form.
Read both confirmation messages, select the intended JSON file, and do not close the builder while the restore is running. After success, set reviewed local stock or reconnect the intended shared inventory before reopening ordering, then reload the public link and verify products, prices, costs, stock, shipping, Coupons and Sales, payment instructions, email, access, limits, schedule, integrations, and mobile layout.
For a published configuration rollback that needs review first, open Publish, choose an earlier Published version, restore it into the draft, preview it, and then choose Save changes. That review step is not available for backup restore.
