Enable and manage customer reviews

Outcome: Collect, reply to, hide, or remove public review content with its privacy limits understood.

Turn on seller reviews

Reviews belong to the seller account, not to one form. In Account settings, enable the public review page and copy its /r/{slug} link. You can also choose whether forms show the review chip.

EZFormz generates a review slug when needed. You can replace it with a unique value containing letters, numbers, and hyphens. Auto-show review rating on all my forms adds an average-and-count chip near each owned form's title and opens the public page in a new tab.

A buyer can submit one review for a form after the order reaches Paid or a later status. The review window lasts 30 days from the paid date, or from the order date for eligible legacy orders. The buyer can edit or delete the review during the 30 days after it was first submitted.

A buyer may submit an eligible review while the seller's public review page is disabled. It stays out of the public listing until reviews are enabled.

Reply or hide spam

Open the dashboard Reviews widget or the seller Reviews page to see public and spam-flagged reviews. The widget shows the public average and count, any flagged count, and up to three recent public reviews.

The seller can add, update, or remove one public reply. The buyer receives an in-site notification the first time the seller replies. Marking a review as spam hides it from the public review page; removing the spam mark publishes it again when reviews are enabled.

Sellers cannot rewrite or delete the buyer's review. The original reviewer can edit or delete it during the review window, and administrators handle exceptional removal. Reviews are account reputation, not an EZFormz decision about a payment or dispute.

The public /r/{slug} page shows the seller identity, average, review count, 1–5 star distribution, public review text, related form title, and seller replies. Spam-flagged reviews are excluded.

Manage alerts

A new review creates an in-site notification. Its email is sent when the seller's New review received notification preference allows email. Use the account Notifications settings if you prefer bell alerts without review email.

Keep public content safe

The reviewer's display name, rating, review text, related form title, dates, and seller reply can be public. Do not post email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, order or transaction identifiers, payment proof, private dispute details, screenshots, or image links.

Seller replies are public too. Keep them factual and move private support conversations to a private channel. If support asks for a screenshot, redact buyer, payment, and order data before sending it.
